Maria has joined Agenda Alliance with over 15 years of experience, including frontline work in public services, local authorities, and large third sector organisations, both in the UK and internationally. She has built on this cross-sector experience to develop meaningful co-production approaches that have informed impactful campaigns and contributed to legislative change.
Her work has spanned high-profile strategic litigation involving migration rights and the reform of deportation policies in the High Court, as well as influencing decision-makers to embed best practice in statutory guidance—particularly in relation to improved data monitoring of child protection procedures in cross-border placements.
Maria brings a strategic approach to applying research in the development of social policy, with a strong commitment to campaigning for anti-oppressive systems. She holds a degree in psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London, complemented by a Master’s in Global Diplomacy from SOAS.
