Project and Admin Officer (interim)
Erika brings over 15 years of experience in project management, working across the NGO and media sectors. Her work has focused on gender, social and climate justice, and social cohesion.
Most recently, she was a Projects Advisor at Peaceful Change Initiative, working closely with civil society in Libya and Syria to deliver locally-led initiatives. Her work focused on integrating gender and climate perspectives and co-designing participatory evidence and learning systems. She co-authored publications exploring civic space, Women, Peace & Security, and conflict-sensitive international assistance.
Previously, Erika worked as a researcher, contributor, and events manager in media and publishing, focusing on Africa and the SWANA region. Her approach is rooted in centring marginalised voices, strengthening collective learning, and building systems for more equitable, just and sustainable change.
Erika holds an MSc in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London, and an MSc in International Development from the University of Bologna.
