She/her
Research and Evidence Officer
Prior to joining Agenda Alliance, Bronwen completed a PhD at the University of Warwick exploring digital activism against gender-based violence across the Middle East and North Africa.
This built on her experience working as an editor and writer in women’s media publications in Egypt for several years, roles that centred community building and storytelling.
Always keen to emphasise dynamics of gender and marginalisation, she has also conducted qualitative and quantitative research on decolonial pedagogy, academic freedom, the right to peaceful assembly, transnational feminist solidarities, European foreign policy, the militarisation of UK campuses, and more. Bronwen is an alumna of the University of Cambridge, the School of Oriental and African Studies, and the London School of Economics.
